NMR1 started as a web studio. The name comes from wanting to be number one at the things that decide whether software wins: performance, search visibility, technical quality and execution.

NMR1 Racing takes that approach to the track. We aren't number one out there. We're starting at the back of the grid, with road cars, no data and a lot to learn. That's the part worth watching.

Every change to the cars, every session and every lap time goes on the record here, good or bad.

  1. Build the car.
  2. Learn Time Attack.
  3. Make mistakes. Improve the setup.
  4. Improve the driver.
  5. Go faster. Film all of it.

    Foundation

    Prepare our own Civics for the track: safety gear, brakes, fluids and tyres. Get seat time and learn the local circuits.

  2. S2 · NEXT

    First timed laps

    Enter entry-level Time Attack events. Collect data, set a baseline, then start taking time out of it.

  3. S3 · PLANNED

    Dedicated car

    Import and build a Japanese-market Honda. Shortlist: EG6, EK9, DC2 or DC5 Integra Type R.

  4. S4 · GOAL

    Compete

    A full Time Attack season with a car and driver developed together.
